EATING THE HEALTHY WAY



What other food is good for me after you have taken into consideration fruits and vegetables; 1. Food rich in fiber, protein and diary food etc. are a good source of healthy living.

Consider the following food that is good for eye health and may protect against cataracts, macular degeneration and other eye related problems.


(A)Avocados (B) Carrots (C) Broccoli (D) Eggs (E) Spinach (F) Kale (G) Tomatoes (H) Sunflower Seeds (I) Garlic (J) Salmon


(A)Avocados: Avocados are among the highly nutrient-dense foods that ever exist. They contain more lutein than any other fruits. Lutein is important in the prevention of macular degeneration and cataracts. Additional nutrients it contains include Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin E.


(B) Carrots: Is popular and available in almost all part of the world. As a rule it is very rich in Vitamin A. 


(C) Broccoli: Because of it nature, it is not available in major part of the world, nevertheless it is rich and a good source of Vitamin Calcium, Lutein, Zeaxathin and sulforaphane.


(D) Eggs: Is an excellent source of eye nutrients like Vitamin A, Zinc, Lutein, B12, Vitamin D, and cysteine. Note: Effort should be made to know the quantity of eggs to be consumed and how it is prepared depending on what you want to use it for.


(E) Spinach: is rich in Vitamin A, Lutein, and Zeaxathin

(F) Kale: is also rich in Vitamin A, Lutein, and Zeaxathin


(G) Tomatoes: Is another dynamic vegetable that is most popular in all part of the world, it grows virtually in all weather and perhaps season. It is frequently used for source, vegetable salad and can be eaten raw by vegetarians. Tomatoes are high in Vitamin C, and Lycopene.


(H) Sunflower Seeds: is medicinal in nature and can be used to prevent cataracts. It contains selenium.

(I) Garlic: Most people around the world are a bit skeptical about the smell that garlic naturally produces. Garlic possesses a healing antidote. It contains selenium, vitamin C and quercetin.


(J) Salmon: Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, folic acid, vitamin D, vitamin B6, and vitamin A.

Meats are in different categories 1.The red meat 2.White meat

Examples of red meat include beef, pork, goat, cattle, lamb, duck, goose etc. Note that beef is probably the most popular red meat of our time.

Red meat is red when it is raw.



Is red meat good? Red meat is good for you when it is eaten in moderate proportion. Red meat can be dangerous when eaten in large
quantity because it has a level of cholesterol and saturated fat.
